Last week, the Mains Lab team hosted an event for leading medical experts and top executives from among our clients. We were delighted to welcome representatives from eight of Russia’s largest insurance companies, which made the discussion truly large-scale and highly professional.

These are the topics that we excitedly dove into:

1) Clinical Guidelines in Russia in 2025 – how they are applied by the clinics in real life, and how the frequency and intensity of medical service prescriptions have changed over time (Q1 2024 vs. Q1 2025) in the voluntary health insurance (VHI) market;

2) Fraud among Healthcare Providers – how the three clinics selected by the experts rate for fraud and what patterns can be observed and prevented;

3) New “Training Portal” for medical staff working with the patients insured by our clients – what the doctors need to know to comply with the Insurer’s policies.

The discussion was dynamic, with participants actively sharing their experiences and insights.
Most importantly, we succeeded in developing a unified position and strategy aimed at consolidating efforts to advance the industry and reduce potential cases of fraud.
